We used to call this our winter break, but as the kids really are more than alright, and wicked smart in their terminology, we’ve started calling this what it truly is: a pause in our process.
Why do we pause? First and foremost, we’re tired! We run a single crew and after a successful, hard-working year, we believe it is most important for us to sit down and patch our bones.
Why else to do we pause? Because we value the gift of time over profit. Time to reflect on the returning of the light. Time to play with the kids and mellow slow by a roaring fire. Time to simply be.
May you each find respite and peace throughout this holiday season. And may we all return renewed, refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to keep on keeping on in 2025.
