AND THE SPACES BETWEEN

Over the years, we’ve honed our skills in a wide variety of services at the intersection of forestry and arboriculture, tailored for the urban environment.

We highlight a few of our crossroads creations below.  If you don’t see the service you are interested in, please ask!

Appraisals & Valuations
Amenity trees produce oxygen, cool the surrounding air, trap pollution, create a privacy screen, increase real estate values, and add to quality of life. Tree appraisal is the development of a specimen's estimated value and contribution to its landscape. Valuations are conducted by a certified arborist as per ISA best practices.
Tree Identification Tours
The first step in any relationship is the exchange of names.  Walk your property with an ISA certified arborist who will introduce you to the species your land supports.  Learn about their historical and cultural significance, and the relationship of your trees to the greater urban forest now and in your property's past.
Pre-construction Consults
Putting in a new driveway, walkway, home addition, or ADU? Meet with a certified arborist to learn about how the infrastructure might impact your trees, how to protect them during construction, and post-construction best care practices.
Tree Protection Reporting & Compliance
Assistance from an NC registered forester with reporting requirements for local municipal tree protection ordinances during construction, including determination and certification that proposed tree conservation areas meet average basal area requirements.
Fence Installs: Demo & Site Prep
Preparation for new fence installations, from demo of an existing fence to removal and grinding of trees and shrubs necessary to clear the new fence line.
Bat Box, Swing & Art Installs
Our expert tree climbers can hang your bat box, swing, or outdoor art piece. We can also make recommendations for the best tree to use, and share with you our go-to brands.
