Firewood Delivery

Thank you for your interest in GTB’s locally sourced, seasoned hardwood. We offer limited, residential delivery in Durham. At this time, we are not taking any new firewood clients. If you are an established firewood client, please complete the below request form to be put on our waitlist.

We are only able to produce about 15 loads of seasoned firewood yearly.  We deliver and stack, or pile, as per your preference, by the full or half load. A full load is equivalent to ~240 pieces, or about 1/3 of a cord. A half-load is comprised of about ~120 pieces. Each batch is hand-counted to ensure parity and a mix of species and wood sizes.

Deliveries are limited to one load per client, per year. As best practice, we keep distribution local, and only deliver in Durham, with priority given to established clients and to addresses proximate to our 27713 wood yard.

  • As best practice, please note that we limit delivery to residential addresses in Durham only. We also give priority to clients who are proximate to our 27713 woodyard. Suggestions for other places to locally source are listed below this form.
  • Please check all times that you could accept firewood delivery. We will respond via email to share pricing, and to confirm delivery date or your position on our waitlist. As long as we have your permission for us to be on your property, we can deliver in your absence.
  • If you’d like to order an amount not listed below, please check “Other” and let us know in the notes what you need.
  • Please let us know if you are burning outdoors and can accept longer pieces, or if you have a small wood stove or fireplace with specific size constraints in terms of length, width or depth.
  • Please share anything else you’d like us to know, such as where you’d like the wood stacked or piled, or any questions you may have.

We are not affiliated with any of these vendors and they may or may not have stock available, their stock may or may not be seasoned, and some may have limited delivery radiuses.

— For folks in Durham or its close-environs, we recommend contacting Bob at 919-516-3158. He delivers and stacks split wood for $145 per pick up truck load.

— For folks in Southwest Durham, you can pick up firewood in varying volumes where Carpenter Fletcher Road ends in a t-intersection with Old Alston Avenue at 4201 South Alston Avenue, Durham, NC 27713. This location is also diagonally across from Braile’s Bar.
